Jump into Switch Sports now and get golfing!

Golf has finally arrived on Switch Sports after being delayed. I’ve been playing golf for a few hours and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Unlike Wii Sports golf, in Switch Sports, golf requires better body positioning and more precise swings. Sure you can just swing your arm, and it will hit the ball, you will probably slice it, but you can do it.

Playing globally will allow you to play the same battle royale style of gameplay that is in Switch sports. Playing locally allows you to play 3 holes, 9 holes or 18 holes. I’ve mostly been playing online, so I can unlock new customization items. I have encountered a lot of  “connection error” which I can only assume is due to players rage-quitting the game.

The precision needed to hit the ball cleanly can be unforgiving sometimes, other times it’s super easy. There were plenty of times when I had swung perfectly, the game decides I’d barely moved the Joy-Con! It’s frustrating, but obviously, it is nothing compared to golf in real life.

I’d recommend giving it a go as it is fairly fun. It’s very satisfying when you hit a perfect shot.

I’ll keep practising regardless and continue to play Switch Sports golf until I get bored, which will probably be fairly soon, knowing me.
