Flicking through the news on Opera GX I noticed an article, from the BBC Entertainment News section. It’s about the Splinter Cell Radio Drama on BBC Radio 4 and BBC Sounds app. How did this not hit my radar? It definitely caught me by surprise and so I downloaded the BBC Sounds app and there it is, Splinter Cell: Firewall, 8 episodes long. Its apparently an adaptation of the Firewall novel, but I haven’t actually read that book.
I’m usually flicking through Reddit several times a day and I’m in the Splinter Cell subreddit and yet, I’ve never heard of it till now. Where is the film that’s apparently coming? Where is the next instalment of Sam Fisher’s world saving adventures? Who knows? because I certainly don’t. I’ll give it a listen as I’m quite into audiobooks these days, currently listening to The Sandman book 2 by Neil Gaiman, I would highly recommend that series as well as The Witcher Series narrated by Peter Kenney, who did a fantastic job by the way with the voices of the characters.
Here is the link to the BBC Article here, as well as a link to the Audio Drama here.
If you want to listen to it on the go, the BBC Sounds app can be found here for android and here for iOS.
